1. Estimating the cost of an agitator

For "Notations and symbols", please refer to [J 3 904] . The main components of an agitator are shown on figure 1 in the article. Agitation. Mixing. Mechanical aspects.

To simplify this study, we will consider "manufactured" elements, i.e. including labor and materials, and we will take into account a manufactured gearbox, and not the details of this part. Similarly, the time required to assemble and test the agitator will be allocated to the price of each assembled element (figure 1 ).
