 INTRODUCTION

Gravimetric concentration is possible due to differences in particle movement in a fluid as a result of the simultaneous action of gravity and one or more other forces. Washability and partition curves can be used to guide the choice of separative technique for ore processing.

Note :

The complete study of the subject is the subject of several independent booklets, to which it will be useful to refer:

  • [J 3 190] - Gravity concentration. Principles ;

  • - Gravity concentration. Different technologies;

  • - Gravity concentration. Modelling and selection criteria ;

  • - Concentration by gravity. "For more information.
