2. Isothermal adsorption

2.1 Adsorption modeling

We place ourselves in conditions where the transfer of thermal energy is very rapid between the grain and the external medium. Under these conditions, we neglect external diffusive resistances to heat and material transfer.

We use :

  • C e the concentration of component A in the external fluid phase,

  • C M the concentration of component A in the fluid phase relative to the macropores,
