5. Fields of application

  • For processes derived from analytical techniques, the fields are obviously those of analysis, the only distinction being the quantity of product and the possibility of recovering it.

  • As far as processes specifically designed for their preparative aspect are concerned, the fields of application are much broader. As separation takes place in a liquid stream, their use is no longer restricted to products that are soluble in the medium.
