Analyse Calorimétrique Différentielle ACD (or differential scanning calorimetry); Differential Scanning Calorimetry DSC

Thermal analysis technique that measures differences in heat exchange between a sample to be analyzed and a reference.

Binodal (curve); binodal (curve)

A curve that defines the non-miscibility range of a mixture and indicates the composition of the coexisting phases at equilibrium. It is the locus of points at which the chemical potential of the constituents is identical in both phases.

Boltzmann constant; Boltzmann constant

Factor of proportionality linking the thermodynamic temperature of a system to its energy at the microscopic level, known as its internal energy:
