Hansen solubility parameters

Hansen's solubility parameters quantify the compatibility between substances by separately evaluating the contributions of dispersive, polar, and hydrogen-bond interactions to solubility.

Surface tension/interfacial tension

Surface tension is the force acting at the surface of a liquid, causing it to minimize its surface area, whereas interfacial tension refers to the force at the interface between two liquids or between a liquid and a solid, resulting from differences in molecular interactions between the phases.
