The quantities reported in the following tables represent both experimental data and the coefficients of two equations describing variations in surface tension as a function of temperature.

  • In the first column, the compound name is listed in alphabetical order.

  • In the second column, a reference temperature is given, T ref (K), at which a surface tension measurement was carried out. This temperature is usually room temperature or close to room temperature.

  • In the third column, the experimental value of surface tension, σ ref (in 10 – 3 N · m –1 ...
