4. General conclusion

It is difficult to draw an overall conclusion about the different transmission media and communication techniques, as there are many constraints and compromises to consider. The table 6 lists the main advantages and disadvantages to be taken into account when choosing a communication device. The boxes marked with a (−) indicate the disadvantages of the domains and online communication techniques in relation to the columns, while the boxes marked with a (+) indicate the advantages of the domains and techniques in the columns in relation to the rows.
