5. Hyperfluorescent OLEDs

More recently, in 2015, a fourth generation of OLEDs called "hyperfluorescent OLEDs" or "TADF-assisted fluorescent OLEDs" was introduced . Hyperfluorescence TM is a concept that combines the high color purity of a fluorescent molecule (thin fluorescence spectrum) with the high efficiency of a TADF molecule. The emissive layer of the hyperfluorescent OLED consists of a host SCO matrix, a TADF SCO and a fluorescent SCO. These new devices are advertised as highly efficient, low-cost and with superior color emission.
