Austenitic stainless steels
Fe-Cr-Ni (Mo) alloys with an austenitic structure. They are generally supplied in the over-hardened condition, but can be supplied in the work-hardened condition when high mechanical properties are required.
Austenitic-ferritic or duplex stainless steels; duplex austenitic-ferritic stainless steels
Fe-Cr-Ni-(Mo) alloys with a high chromium content (25%) and a two-phase structure (50% austenite / 50% ferrite). They are generally supplied in a super-hardened condition.
Precipitation-hardening stainless steels
Stainless steels with high mechanical properties obtained through secondary heat treatment.
Ferritic stainless steels
Fe-Cr-(Mo)-(Ti/Nb) alloys with a ferritic structure. The primary...
