7. Steel processing

Because of their properties, steels can be used in a wide range of applications. The builder can therefore engage in a wide range of operations.

7.1 Cutting

This can be :

  • mechanical sawing, shearing, punching, nibbling ;

  • thermal melting and oxidation of metal, with heat supplied by a flashlight, plasma torch or laser beam.
