4.1 Production method

The steelmaking process is left to the producer's initiative, but must be communicated to the user on request.

4.2 Delivery status

Products are normally supplied in the annealed condition. On request, they can be supplied in the quenched and tempered condition, which is typically the case for steels supplied in the pretreated condition (certain cold and hot-work alloy steels, notably mold steels).
