6. Residual sample height after crushing
To evaluate the coefficient of friction, we set an impact energy and plotted the theoretical crushing values against the coefficient of friction entered in the software (figure 3 ). The result is a curve corresponding to the theoretical evolution of the residual height of the sample as a function of the simulated coefficient of friction. The experimental points corresponding to the different lubrication conditions can then be plotted on the curve and the abscissa of these points read off. Figure
