6. Metallurgical weldability of various metals

We'll be looking at the following metals and metal alloys:

aluminum, copper, iron, magnesium, nickel and titanium.

Figure 24 compares the levels of the physical properties essential for welding of these metals, while figure 25 defines their respective affinity for oxygen.
