6. Health and safety – Effluent treatment

The pollution and nuisances generated by paint stripping operations are mainly due to the use and handling of noxious or toxic products. These different pollutants require the adoption of health and safety measures adapted to the activity in question, as well as special precautions for atmospheric emissions and aqueous or solid discharges. The treatment of concentrated solutions and effluents is beyond the scope of this report. The author advises the reader to refer to the [M 1 815]
