Certain operating parameters must be monitored to maintain the film's properties.
Following paint consumption, these parameters are maintained by refilling the main binder and pigment paste.
5.1 Bath parameters
The main parameters are as follows (for information only):
dry extract (15 to 25%)
pigment/binder (0.12 to 0.35)
Meq amine (40 to 65)
Meq acid (15 to 30)
pH (5.6 to 6.4)
conductivity (1,200 to 1,800 µS)
solvent content 1 to 5% by mass
