7.1 New deposit applications

Chemical deposits have been extensively studied for numerous industrial applications. Their diverse properties, such as hardness, thickness uniformity, wear and corrosion resistance, as well as the ability to process non-conductive and complex-shaped substrates, make electroless nickel deposits highly attractive candidates for many engineering applications, particularly in the aerospace and automotive industries.
