electroless nickel plating

Chemical process for depositing nickel, usually alloyed with phosphorus or boron, without the need for an external power source.

surface treatment; surface treatment

Mechanical, chemical, electrochemical or physical operation aimed at modifying the appearance or function of the surface of materials in order to adapt it to specific conditions of use.

thermal treatment; heat treatment

Succession of operations during which a solid product is subjected in whole or in part to thermal cycles to obtain a change in its properties and/or structure.
