5. Conclusion

Electrolytic codeposition of inert particles in a metal matrix is a suitable technique for producing novel composite materials. Particularly in fields requiring the use of thin coatings, this technique offers a good alternative to other techniques for producing composite coatings in that it produces new coatings with unique characteristics, and for which the investment is relatively modest.

There is a wealth of literature in this field, and more and more studies are being carried out.

It has been shown that many experimental parameters are involved and influence the codeposition process. It is difficult to imagine clearly the effect of each of the electrochemical parameters during the codeposition process.
