In our view, future developments in electro-galvanizing, driven by the ever-increasing demand for both anti-corrosion and environmental protection, will focus on..:

  • the design of formulations containing fewer raw materials, in particular low concentrations of pollutants, in order to comply with regulations concerning the recovery and recycling of products at the end of their life;

  • property modeling (morphology, structure, corrosion, etc.) based on process conditions;

  • Coating finishing treatments: the deposit's performance has almost reached its break-even point;

  • the development of intelligent instrumentation and high-performance actuators to ensure the reliability and quality of the finished product, thanks to an approach based on chemical...
