6. Markets, prices and qualities

The market and prices for selenium and tellurium are detailed and analyzed in the "Economic data" section of the "Find out more" section [Doc. M 2 370] .

Around twenty copper refineries worldwide recover selenium and occasionally tellurium. The market is roughly balanced, with supply growth offset by strong demand from China in recent years.
