6. Conclusion

This article contains the data needed to prepare a heat balance for steelmaking systems.

For simple phases, i.e., stoichiometric compounds, these are tables of numerical values. Tables are provided in accordance with the conventions adopted in current databases, i.e., using as the reference state the standard reference state for which the enthalpy of the chemical elements is taken to be 0 in their stable state at 25 °C and 1 atm, and using the J · mol –1 as the unit. Other tables are also provided with different reference states and units, in order to facilitate calculations for certain evaluations.
