The weaving process involves the synchronization of different elements of the kinematic chain, which independently manipulate the warp and weft yarns. Mastery of the weaving process thus relies on the weaver's ability to adapt the various process parameters to obtain the right setting for the type of yarns used and the type of woven article to be produced.
