3. Influence of the characteristics of the drawing cylinders

As described in § 1 , a pair of draw cylinders picks up the fiber ends that appear under its draw line. The draw capacity of this pair therefore depends on its resolution ∆c, corresponding to the contact surface between the upper cylinder and the lower cylinder.
