1. Different types of glass
Glass is a material widely used for reinforcement, thanks to its specific qualities: excellent mechanical strength, high electrical resistivity, and thermal and chemical inertia. What's more, unlike natural fibers such as flax or hemp, which are also used to reinforce thermoplastics or thermosets, wet glass fibers do not mildew.
