7. Mistakes to avoid
7.1 Don't do the same job over and over again!
Inventory is a starting point, not an endpoint: you need to keep resources available to exploit this inventory.
If you've forgotten to record a piece of information, you'll have to reprocess all the MSDSs: take the time to formalize your methodology and the information collection grid.
Different people carry out inventories that are partly redundant. If your company already has chemical inventories, check whether they can be grouped together so that data updating can be shared between the various inventory users. These inventories, even on a one-off basis, will give you an idea of the requirements of other users.
