3. Identify your obligations, taking into account the interconnection of regulatory texts

By answering the three questions in step 1, you can identify your European regulatory obligations regarding the chemical safety of a product.

To better understand the importance of these issues, some examples are given below.

3.1 The "right to exist" on Community territory

You manufacture a chemical substance that is sold exclusively to distributors; by agreement, the latter manage the regulatory problems associated with applications.
