Risk analysis

Systematic use of information to identify hazardous phenomena and to estimate the resulting risk (ISO/IEC 73) (from circulaire du 10 mai 2010 ).

Hazard study

Drawn up under the responsibility of the operator of the industrial activity, and in addition to the impact study, the hazard study identifies all the risks induced by the facility for the environment and public safety, as well as the means of reducing them. Such a study must be submitted to a public inquiry prior to the granting of any authorization to operate the facility concerned.
