Centrosome

The centrosome is a microtubule organizing center (or MTOC). It is therefore responsible for the formation of the microtubule mitotic spindle during cell division, on which chromosomes move.

Clastogenesis

A clastogen is a substance capable of causing breaks in a DNA molecule, i.e. a chromosomal aberration.

Genotoxicity

Property of certain toxic substances to produce mutations affecting the genetic make-up of exposed organisms.

Mutagenesis

Production of a mutation in a living organism
