3. Follow the steps involved in submitting an inquiry
In parallel with the analytical tests, you can start building the substance inquiry via IUCLID by following the inquiry guide. Once the substance dataset has been created in IUCLID, you need to generate its file in ".i6z" format in IUCLID and export it to your computer. It can then be deposited in the company's REACH-IT account.
3.1 REACH-IT
REACH-IT is ECHA's central data management system. It enables industry to submit regulatory elements specific to the application of the REACH and CLP regulations. It also enables ECHA, the Member States and the European Commission to process, analyze and evaluate the information submitted. It is the preferred communication system.
