2.1 Maintaining the validity of training

No specific training other than the general training provided for in chapter § 1.3 of the ADR is required for the exclusive carriage of goods "packed in limited quantities" or "excepted" or "carried in limited quantities" (below the threshold of "1,000"). Above these thresholds, specific driver training must be provided by an organization designated for this purpose, in accordance with chapter § 8.2 of the ADR. The basic module is compulsory, and must be supplemented by one or more options, depending on the activity:
