3. What is the delivery and return procedure?
3.1 Delivery
Generally speaking, in France, it is forbidden to load and unload dangerous goods on public roads, except in cases of force majeure and with a few rare exceptions detailed in article 2.2.2 (appendix I) of the Arrêté du TMD 29 mai 2009 modifié .
The recipient of the goods is obliged not to delay unloading, unless delivery conditions do not allow this to be carried out safely. However, under no circumstances should the consignee allow the vehicle to set off again with a non-conforming load, as this would make the consignee partly responsible.
