7. What labelling is required?
In addition to occupational health and safety labelling (REACH and CLP regulations), the ADR prescribes a number of mandatory labels and markings.
7.1 UN number
Each "packaging" or "large packaging" must bear the UN number of the substance being transported, preceded by the letters "UN". For "large packagings", this mark must appear on two opposite sides.
