You have determined your status under REACH regulations when placing your substance inventories on the market. There are two possible scenarios.
You have a stock of substances purchased within the EEA, and you are a downstream user. Your obligations relate to the dissemination of information and the safe use of the substance.
If you have a stock of a substance and have not ceased production and/or importation of that substance, you are a manufacturer and/or importer. Your obligations relate to registration.
