Distributor

Any natural or legal person established in the Community, including a retailer, who carries out only the operations of storing and placing on the market a substance, on its own or in a preparation, on behalf of third parties.

Manufacturer

Natural or legal person established in the Community who manufactures a substance in the Community.

Manufacturing

Production or extraction of substances in their natural state.

Importer

Any natural or legal person established in the Community who is responsible for the import.

Import

Physical introduction into the customs territory of the Community.
