4. Determine the classification of the preparation on the basis of data specific to the components.
The next step is to determine whether your preparation meets the classification criteria for the various hazard classes identified, which are not covered by preparation-specific data. This is the case, for example, for CMR hazards.
To do this, you need to use the classification criteria for preparations listed in Annexes II and III of the DPD directive. More specifically, you will find :
in Annex II, the criteria for health hazards;
in Annex III, criteria for environmental hazards.
