Article

An object which, during the manufacturing process, is given a particular shape, surface or design that is more decisive for its function than its chemical composition.

Operational condition

All actions, equipment or parameters involved in the production/use of the substance that affect human and environmental exposure.

Manufacturer

Natural or legal person established in the Community who manufactures a substance there.

Manufacturing

Production or extraction of substances in their natural state.

Supplier of an item

Any producer or importer of an article, any distributor or any other actor in the supply chain who places an article on the market.
