1. Prepare registration and pre-registration controls

The DREAL inspector will look at several themes during an inspection.

Control

For DREAL inspectors, chemicals, and in particular the REACh regulation, are a priority. Several hundred REACh inspections are scheduled each year.

These checks mainly concern :

  • registration aspects (in particular compliance with the strictly controlled conditions defined in articles 17 and 18 of the REACh regulations);

  • on compliance with conditions relating to authorizations (Annex XIV – cf. Understanding and anticipating the principle of authorization, how it works and the substances concerned
