arrêté du 7 mars 2013 asks that masks be decontaminated after use. It also requires that, before each use, respirators be tested for tightness (correct fit according to the employee's morphology) and that a check be carried out to ensure that the respirator is in good working order. By law, the general condition of respirators must be checked every 12 months. Your respirator's user manual will be invaluable in helping you learn how to disassemble the mask's parts, and how to decontaminate it.

The annual inspection is carried out on a test bench to measure tightness, particularly at the exhalation valve.
