7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't confuse exemption from safety advisor designation with exemption from ADR application

Just because your company qualifies for exemption from the requirement to appoint a safety advisor does not mean that the rest of the ADR does not apply to you. Staff training and packaging compliance, for example, remain relatively restrictive and complex points to implement, where the help of a safety advisor can be very useful, even if it is not compulsory.
