5.1 Participate and anticipate
Two consultation periods are proposed during this process. They allow :
for stakeholders (citizens, organizations, industries, authorities) to contribute and make their interests and limits known on a case-by-case basis;
for ECHA to identify and take into account in the appraisal any data useful for the decision.
