6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Don't assume that all your suppliers have automatically registered all their substances.

Registration is not compulsory for all substances, as it depends on a number of factors. So, for the same substance, one supplier may have registered while another may not. Depending on your projected use of the substance, be sure to take this parameter into account when choosing your supplier.
