PDCA is used to manage actions while ensuring their effectiveness and relevance. As part of a chemical risk assessment, PDCA is used to validate risk reduction actions.
PDCA stands for Plan, Do, Check, Act.
Plan for planning the subject to be dealt with or the actions to be taken: define the elements for success of the problem to be dealt with (actions, drivers, deadlines, resources, etc.).
Do for the implementation of planned elements: carry out actions in accordance with the planned schedule.
Check for implementation: check that what has been put in place corresponds to the problem to be addressed and that the actions are effective.
