Once the tests have been carried out, allow the PPE testers to select the PPE that suits them best.

You should also take into account the opinion of the members of the CHSCT during this validation stage. More a question of regulation than practice, this opinion will be necessary to ensure that the PPE provision process is compliant.

Other bodies outside your establishment may also be consulted for validation. On technical points, the occupational physician, supported by the prevention engineer, can provide support in this decision-making process. The Labour Inspectorate or inspection bodies can validate the PPE selected, particularly with regard to the protection factor provided.
