6. Our advice

6.1 When in doubt, use a COFRAC-accredited service provider

Connecting measuring instruments is an important step in guaranteeing the quality of measurement results. While this usually takes the form of calibration, it can also be approached from a different angle, such as inter-instrument comparison.

For calibrations, the simplest choice is to use a COFRAC-accredited (or equivalent) service provider. In this case, if you really want to benefit from the security offered by the label, make sure that the calibration (or verification) document bears the logo of the accrediting body.
