7. Reaction plan

The value added to the product supplied to the customer by an inspection is at best a status (compliant/non-compliant) or a label (NF, CE for example).

However, testing can also reduce this added value when it degrades (during handling, for example) or destroys the product (destructive testing).

On the one hand, they serve to avoid destroying value for the organization by avoiding the continued production of non-compliant products, and on the other hand, to provide information (compliant/non-compliant) for the decisions that follow:

  • accept compliant products and provide the associated proof insofar as they are formally registered;

  • react in the event of non-conformity or anomaly (non-compliance with acceptance criteria). This is the purpose of the reaction...
