7.1 Specify the context of your measurements

The aim is to provide the "operational definition" for the measurements obtained. What do the measures really represent, and how are they obtained? In the examples on this page, we have used the category A unemployment rate from Pôle emploi statistics. However, there are four other categories... but also people who are not registered with Pôle emploi. The statistiques de l’INSEE (selon la définition du BIT) are different again...
