7.1 Don't destroy your paper originals
A signed paper remains an original. Scans or photocopies are simply copies, and it will be difficult to prove their authenticity and integrity in the event of a dispute. In fact, a pdf or image file can be reworked from behind, and details can be added or removed with any photo processing software. That's why, when you have a signed paper original, it's your duty to preserve it for a specific period of time.
