Periodic inspection

Specific inspection of certain classified facilities subject to declaration, to ensure compliance with certain regulatory and technical requirements defined in the general requirements decree.

Installation classified for environmental protection (ICPE)

Facilities operated or owned by any natural or legal person, public or private, which may present hazards or inconveniences for the convenience of local residents, health, safety, public hygiene, agriculture, the protection of nature and the environment, and the conservation of sites and monuments. In order to minimize the risks associated with these facilities, the French Environment Code sets out the provisions and procedures governing ICPEs.
