2. What does BSD mean?
The BSD is a CERFA-approved document that ensures the traceability of hazardous waste from production to disposal. It is therefore an element of proof of destruction for the responsible producer. It is stamped and completed by each intermediary.
This form contains the following information:
on the origin of waste ;
on their characteristics;
collection, transport and storage procedures;
on the identity of the companies concerned, the destination of the waste and the method of treatment.
There are different types of BSD depending on the type of hazardous waste:
